Interrogato a trabocchetto da un giornalista della rivista “Glamour” su chi fossero gli studenti coranici (questo il significato della parola talebani), l’allora candidato repubblicano alla Casa Bianca fece scena muta. L’intervistatore lo aiutò: “La repressione delle donne… in Afghanistan”.
Il governatore del Texas si iluminò: “Oh, credevo che tu parlassi di un complesso rock. I talebani dell’Afghanistan. Assolutamente! Repressivi!”.
Questo un primo elenco di brani rock cancellati dalla programmazione di uno dei più importanti circuiti radiofonici USA dopo l’attentato dell’11 settembre 2001.
